Rowena was born in Wyndham, WA and grew up in Halls Creek.
Rowena is a Kija & Gnoonyandi woman from her grandparents that were taken from their traditional countries and placed on missions.
Rowena is a contemporary aboriginal artist that has developed her own style from a young age and continues to transform her designs into textile prints also.
She has been apart of several art centres, working with WA Art Gallery doing various training around art to better understand and support other artist, elders and to continue to grow her own art business Nangarri Designs.
